The Skeptics Society. — 88 p. — ISSN 1063-9330.Skeptic, known informally as the Skeptic magazine, is a science education and science advocacy magazine first published quarterly in 1992 in Altadena, California for international markets. The magazine had reached over 50,000 subscribers by 2015 and has gained a following since then. The Skeptics Society, a nonprofit organization founded by by Michael Shermer and Pat Linse, was devoted to promoting scientific skepticism and resisting the spread of pseudoscience, superstition, and irrational beliefs. Cover stories have ranged from UFOS, psychics and artificial intelligence, to name just a few. Some editions feature special sections devoted to a particular topic or theme that, at times, have had multiple articles having been written by different authors. Each issue also opens with a description of The Skeptics Society/ its mission statement, has an editorial and features a correspondence section entitled the "Forum".
